TOUR 10 DAYS AND 9 NIGHTS


DEPARTURE EVERY SATURDAY


DAY 1: From Santa Cruz or La Paz to Sucre. Arrival and a local guide will be waiting at the airport and take you to the hotel. After visit La Casa de la Libertad museum, el Mirador y el Complejo Turístico de la Recoleta, San Lázaro church, Santo Domingo church, Universitary museum, el Convento de San Felipe de Nery, la Merced church, Overnight Hostal De Su Merced.


DAY 2: Sucre – Tarabuco – Potosi. 08:00 a.m. Departure to Tarabuco (65 kms) which is a small town near Sucre which maintains traditional customs, including clothing and textiles. The Sunday market is a good place to view and purchase woven goods. After lunch back to Sucre and continuo trip to Potosi. Overnight Hotel El Libertador (B, L)


DAY 3: Potosi. Potosí was the biggest city in the Americas. Silver from Potosí was taken to Spain and used all over Europe. Now a walk through the streets will take you back to the times of the Spanish Conquistadores. The whole city has been declared a Patrimony of Mankind by UNESCO, after breakfast we will visit the Cerro Rico de Potosi. In the afternoon continued the visit for the main street in Potosi, museums, churches. Overnight Hotel Libertador. (B)


DAY 4: Potosi – Uyuni – Colchani – Isla del Pescado – Basic Salt Hotel. Early in the morning we will take our car towards Uyuni the journey last about 5 hours with stops on the way. After a quick lunch we will continuo to enter the great Salar. Visit Colchani where salt is extracted, Visit Incahuasi Island, take a short walk, Go to Basic Salt Hotel and spend the night with a simple room, double room with a shared bathroom, shower is an additional. DAY 5: Salt Hotel - National Park - Red Lagoon. Leave at 7:30 am. Visit the altiplanic lagoons. Visit the Siloli desert and see the Stone Tree. Enter National Reservation and visit the Red Lagoon. Spend the night in a basic refuge with simple room, double room, and with a shared bathroom facilities. Shower is an additional (B, L, D)


DAY 6: Red Lagoon - Geysers - Hot spring - Green Lagoon – Uyuni – La Paz. Leave at 5:00 am. Visit the Geysers. Take a dip in the thermal baths/hot springs. Visit the Green Lagoon – see flamingos, Visit the White Lagoon. Visit the Valley of the Rocks. 17.00 return to Uyuni. 08:00 pm Overnight touristic bus to La Paz, arriving next day at 07:00 am (B, L)


DAY 7: La Paz – City Tour. AM rest. PM 14:30 visiting La Paz city, the main square, Cathedral, Congress and Palace building, Gold museum, Witchcraft market, San Francisco church, residential area and Valley of the Moon. Overnight Hostal Naira.


DAY 8: La Paz – Tiwanaku – Copacabana. Morning departure from La Paz at 07:45 am by car to Tiwanaku Ruins we will visit the one of most older culture in South America. Located at 72 Kms, from La Paz city, one of the best Bolivian pre–Inca sites. We are going to visit the local museum, Kalasasaya and Semisubterrean temples, Akapana Pyramid, and Sun Gate, Ponce monolith and others. In the afternoon with lunch on the way we will reach Copacabana in 3 ½ hours. During the drive we will be able to see the magnificent Lake Titicaca and the spectacular Cordillera Real. At the half waypoint, we will take a ferry the Strait of Tiquina. Arrive to Copacabana. A short visit to the Vírgen of Copacabana and her church, the most important Christian sanctuary in Bolivia. DAY 9: Copacabana – Island of the Sun. Do not miss the sunrise! After breakfast we take you by boat to La Chincana to start a hike crossing most of the Sun Island for 4 to 5 hours. Lunch and free afternoon to enjoy the area. Overnight Sun Island, Overnight Hostal Inti Kala (B, L, D)


DAY 10: Island of the Sun - Copacabana – La Paz. Today we hike to the village of Yumani, known as the garden of the Incas. We hike down to the bay to take a boat back to Copacabana. Lunch. Return to La Paz. Overnight Hostal Naira (B, L) END OF OUR SERVICE
